The computers are ‘a little bigger now’ at Nelson Mandela Elementary School thanks to an Omaha Company
Nelson Mandela Elementary School is getting a new technology lab, courtesy of an Omaha company — Milan Laser Hair Removal. With 30 new, unboxed desktop computers not being utilized, they decided to give them away.Before this donation, these students only had small laptops to work with. “Well, the computers were a little small, but since we have these, it’s a little bigger now,” Kennedy Maxwell, a student at the school, said. Dr. Shikhar Saxena, the CEO and co-founder of Milan Laser Hair Removal, was more than happy to help these students in their learning.”It puts a smile on your face when you see kids turning on their computers, playing games, able to use technology. I can’t even describe the feeling. It warms our heart and we’re just excited to give back more to the community,” Saxena said.The school says the computers will teach kids how to code and how to use different operating systems.
